Factoids: Ronald and Jimmey Gallegos were the first owners of the new Lovell Lanes which opened in October 1961.
The construction company Adsco completed the construction of the Dubois bowling alley before starting the construction at this location.
Lovell's Mayor Clarence Morrison threw out the first ball on opening day.
In 1961, Zippo™ cigarette lighters were given out to all bowlers in the inaugural league season (photo below).
The blue lockers (still in use today) and boxes of bowling pins were purchased via auction from the Shoshoni Bowling Lanes after it closed.
